Trustees Meeting
April 7, 2004
The Village Board of Trustees met in regular session April 7, 2004 at 7:00 PM at the Village Hall. Board Members present were: James Cerveny, Connie Boldan-Cerveny, Dave Mahrt, and Chairman Patrick Cunningham, absent was John Adsit.
The meeting notice was posted at Village Hall, Post Office, & Fuel Depot.
The minutes of the March meeting were read and approved, motion by D. Mahrt, 2nd by J. Cerveny, Vote all Aye.
Treasurer’s report was read. Bills presented for the Road Fund $165.57 OPPD (Street Lights), $27.10 City of Louisville (two 15min Parking Signs). Bills presented for the General Fund $10.81, OPPD (Town Hall Lights), $17.67 Plattsmouth Journal, $692.00 American Legal Publishing Corporation (ordinance printing), $40.00 Deb Cunningham (Administrative Fees), motion to pay the bills by C. Cerveny, 2nd by D. Mahrt, Vote all Aye.
Building Permits: Signing of Administrative Subdivision “Tax Lot 18”: NE ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 14-T12N-R10E of the 6th PM Cass County from 2003. Single family structure at 31918 West Lake Park Drive, Lot 51 motion by D. Mahrt 2nd by J. Cerveny, vote all aye.
Planning Committee Report: No Report
Inspections Conducted: Report read
Correspondences: New Ordinance Book updates. JEO notice that warranty on drainage improvements is half over. Received a letter from Cass County Zoning stating that all building permits from North Lakes and Middle Island have a letter from NEBCO showing approval before the board passes.
New Business: P. Cunningham attended County Officials Meeting on March 29th. Stop Signs need to be of proper height and distance, motion by D. Mahrt to have county do our inspections of all stop signs, 2nd by C. Cerveny, vote all aye. Signs stating “No Jake Brakes” are illegal do to name usage, motion by D. Mahrt to remove signs, 2nd by C. Cerveny, vote all aye. River Utilities Board to meet on April 13th. Grading & Rocking Roads motion by D. Mahrt to contact Snodgrass Grading do to grading and get rock in for roads, 2nd by J. Cerveny, vote all aye. Street Sweeping discussed for Hwy 66. Tree Trimming & Ditch Cleaning discussed. Town Clean-up set for May 21 & 22 motion by C. Cerveny, 2nd by D. Mahrt, vote all aye.
