VILLAGE OF SOUTH BEND The Village Board of Trustees met in regular session October 4, 2006 at 7:00 PM at the Village Hall. Board Members present were: Connie Boldan-Cerveny, James Cerveny, Brad Graham, Dave Mahrt, and Chairman Patrick Cunningham. The meeting notice was posted at Village Hall, Post Office, & Fuel Depot. It was noted where the “Open Meetings Act Poster” is posted. The minutes of the September meeting was read and approved, motion by D. Mahrt, 2nd by J. Cerveny, Vote all Aye. Treasurer’s report was read. Bills presented for the Road Fund $170.16 OPPD (Street Lights). Bills presented for the General Fund $14.45 OPPD (Town Hall Lights), $48.39 Plattsmouth Journal, $11.78 Lincoln Journal Star (Roofing Bid), $5.00 Nebraska Municipal Clerk’s Association (Membership), $73.08 Lori Graham (Ellen’s Retirement Party), $6.48 Postmaster (Occupation Tax Stamps), $75.00 Deb Cunningham (Administrative Fees), motion to pay the bills by D. Mahrt, 2nd C. Cerveny, Vote all Aye. Building Permits: None Planning Committee: No Report Inspections Conducted: No Report Town Hall: No bids received on roofing project. Cemetery Board: No Rreport Town Clean-up: Oct 6-8 using grant money to help offset cost clean-up will help mosquito prevention. New Business: Heater: Motion by B. Graham to have Derby Heating come and look at heater, not to exceed the cost of $65.00 to $100.00, 2nd by C. Cerveny, vote all Aye. Tractor: Motion by D.
