VILLAGE OF SOUTH BEND
Trustees Meeting
November 5, 2003

The Village Board of Trustees met in regular session November 5, 2003 at 7:00 PM at the Village Hall. Board Members present were: James Cerveny, Connie Cerveny, Dave Mahrt, and Chairman Patrick Cunningham, absent John Adsit.

The meeting notice was posted at Village Hall, Post Office, & Fuel
Depot.

The minutes of the October meeting were read and approved, motion by D. Mahrt, 2nd by J. Cerveny, Vote all Aye.

Treasurer’s report was read. Bills presented for the Road Fund $161.54 OPPD (Street Lights). Bills presented for the General Fund $10.55, OPPD (Town Hall Lights), $28.61 Plattsmouth Journal, $260.75 Springfield/Louisville Insurance Agency (4th Installment), $83.61 Morten Law Office (Water District), $4.60 Deb Cunningham (postage), $40.00 Deb Cunningham (Administrative Fees), and $222.00 Ashland Disposal Service.
Motion to pay the bills by D. Mahrt, 2nd by C. Cerveny, Vote all Aye.

Discussion on Insurance, received price quotes, motion by D. Mahrt to table until Dec. meeting, 2nd by J. Cerveny, Vote all Aye.

Received the Lower Platte River Regional Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Study Final Report.

Building Permits: Fosters, North Lake a 24 X 36 addition, motion by D. Mahrt with contingency of evaluation of home, 2nd by C. Cerveny, vote all aye. Brad Dill, New Home motion by D. Mahrt, 2nd by J. Cerveny vote all aye.

Planning Committee Report: No Report

Drainage Improvement Project: Received check from Lower Platte South.

Inspections Conducted: Report read.

Correspondences: Nebr. Dept. of Environmental Quality - Survey, P. Cunningham to fill out and send back. Nebr. Dept of Environmental Quality - Waste Reduction & Recycling Grant info. Nebr. Health & Human Services - information on Lead Hazard Control Program.
